At The Vision Of Apostle Paul, Then And Now
1. Then
Saul always hasd some problem with his eyes,
and certain truths too far for him to see,
as when he watches Stephen (as he dies
beneath a storm of stones hurled furiously).
2. Now
Years hence: Christian, the Apostle Paul returns
to that same ground where lingers a sad link
to his dark past. In noon's glare, he discerns
strewn stones, once blood red, but now gold-flecked pink.
