The anomaly has always amused me:  they believe themselves more pure, more Biblical, than the Anglican Church; and yet the authority on which they base that opinion of themselves is the "King James Version"---translated by Anglican Bishops and scholars, and named for a man who promised that he would drive all dissenters, including the Baptists, out of England.
