I know that, even now, I still draw near,
and nearer, to that Bright and Morning Star.
His Love stands by me, as my situation
pushes my buttons and twists my cranks.
At this time, my own circumstances are
not pleasant---though Love has cast out pain's fear:
because, even in this midst, Christ's inspiration
leads me, in and through this, to give Him thanks.
