You have been gone, Uncle William, from this

colloquium; and your words are forgettable;

you are not much missed, though quite a near miss---

a brute hardly qualified to possess a soul.

An academic poem about a former professor, whose hostility toward undergraduate students (us long-haired, jeansclad, barefoot attenders, by compulsion, of his lectures) was brutal.
