I doubt that the car crash that took her life was entirely "accidental." Look to the man she called "Pierre" in her book; her blood, I suspect, still stains his hands.

I cannot prove this, of course; it is allegation. But I doubt that "Pierre" is fictional, and I doubt the explanation of her death as accidental is factual.
