I forget the exact night, it was a weeknight, in December, 1976. JellyBean had a paper due on John Milton for a class taught by the English teacher who had been my mentor during my senior year in high school and also for all four years of my college experience. For this discussion, we left channel 22 and went down like to channels 3 or 4 (I forget which), thinking we had it all to ourselves. Turns out that a good many of our friends silently tuned into that channel and listened for the entire two hours that we navigated John Milton's poetry.
