Careless Living

Nowdays, little things seem to eat people alive.

Pocket-sized displeasures cause them great pain

Persons abstain from doting on one another

In favor of snapping at each other.

Disrespect runs rampant.

People have forgotten how to be at ease.

Why do so many people yearn for conflict and criticize?

Where is the love?

Perhaps they do not have more important things to worry about.

Maybe a certain profession can put this in perspective.

Some doctors deal with “life vs. death” situations everyday.

For many of them, little things do not run their lives.

They realize that there are more important things to worry about

Such as feeling affection and being glad for what you have.

Enjoy life more.

Squabble less.

I LOVE this one!! The subject is one I think of too- you may have coaxed a new piece out of me, in the next few days to come we'll see- I think the fact that you thought to write a piece on this is awesome!! I always try to live by the 'don't sweat the small stuff' ideal, but then I live in the past occasionally, so I guess it's a happy medium for me- anyhow- I often wish everyone around me was as easygoing and relaxed, it'd be so much less drama LOL :-) NEwayZ- Great write! I like your work!
