The distance between us grows

As each day goes by

And the more I care for you

The more I cry



I thought we'd stay together

You know make it last

And be there for eachother

To forgive an forget the past



But I guess we hit a bump

Or took a wrong turn

Because we must be taught

But refuse to learn



We forgot all that

We had taught eachother

About bein together

And lasting forever



But the time has

Come once again

For us to either give up

Or continue to be friends



I dont know though

What it'll be

Because we are blind

And refuse to see



We have shut our eyes

And ignored all we know

Hiding our feelings

Cause we just cant show



Just how much

"Us" Means

We are pretending

To live inside a dream



But I dont understand

Whats going on

But it seems like

We're both already gone
