They taking away our,
Sun, Soil, and Water,
So we can't grow anymore.
Like just because we no longer,
Doing their indoor chores,
And outside pickin's
That we no longer have the right to livin.
Like there's something so hard being taught in schools,
To the point we can't get it.
One thing I surely know is African American History.
After the slaves was freed,
We started painting our future,
But white wasn't in it.
We separated like water and liquor.
And was put in a whole because we wasn't pure...
And after we all realized whites weren't the King,
After a dream,
We still taught our kids that this worlds a system,
In which we are the victims.
And that killing is the only cure.
See now after feelin whippins,
We still livin in wickedness,
And all the living's a witness.
Children think they whizzes.
We givin birth to wizards.
Because the parents are senseless.
Only teaching hate.
So the kid becomes witless.
So now we all surround by unfulfilled wishes.
...And I don't see the world getting better anytime soon.
He taking away our,
Sun, Soil, and Water,
So we can't grow anymore.
Making us believe in tradition,
Daily Contradictions,
Multiple magicians,
And miscued visions.
He makin us forget we our all flowers,
Planted by one gardener.
He makin our heart harden,
Our mind much harder.
And our soul so harsher.
Makin blood replace water.
We washin in darkness.
In which we wash our daughters.
And our clothes in the washer.
So our weakness finds us
Cause Noone is no longer be raised in the sun,
So our sweetness dries up,
Like a raisin in the sun.
Our kids is starting to see hatred in the sun.
I pray to god when I get older that he raises my child,
Cause i dont wanna see hatred in my son.
I want him to understand the scriptures,
So he can see how this world makes god and the devil a mixture.
And instead of liquor,
Its holy water in his pitcher.
And understand that god is all,
Like, really get the picture.
So he knows...
Even tho im in this world giving him the word,
That god makes us flowers,
And gives us the Sun, Soil, and Water,
We need to grow.
