Red Giant

A man like you, seldom knows

where to draw the line

Hence, he doesn’t

know,

when he’s crossed it

Before long, he’s gone so far into

an unknown land,

that he becomes like a fish out of water

Panting and gasping in an unknown atmosphere,

he begins to trip-up

and choke,

making rudimentary mistakes

These are the very

mistakes,

that will become his undoing

Yes – he begins his

journey,

robbing pennies from a peasant

And when he finds a little success with this

endeavor,

his ego begins to bloom

He moves on to

pursue,

bigger and bigger grabs

The bloom of his ego becomes

immense,

as he progressively becomes bolder

Eventually, his ego becomes a teetering

bloated mass,

from too many easy victories

In the final stage, his ego becomes

an

obstacle

to all reason

But the fatal mistake

is made

Hence begins,

the

inevitable collapse

Striking and impressive

Striking and impressive description of the rise and fall of the arrogant. Some enthralling wordcrafting. This is true art.
