Yet [*/+/^] : 27.225 MHz, Some Final Measures; Joyful Noise, After Psalm 100:1

Christ is in our midst: He is and ever shall be.

He is the beginning of our existence and history;

He is our merciful Sustainer and Guide through every

day and night; He is our ever-welcoming destiny;

His Kingdom the site of our eternal exultation.

Having been saved from Sin's and Death's degradation

by and through Christ, let us make jubilant celebration.

Let that assurance be witnessed even in this poetry---

which is as flawed as I am, and is offered unworthily:

Christ is in our midst: He is and ever shall be.

Ah. The surety of truly held beliefs.

Some of us are still wandering in the desert of seeking. Of course, Jesus found his destiny in the desert. (These comments are sincere and not sarcasm.)

Like the Israelites in the wilderness after the Exodus:  some probably believed fervently, others doubted the purpose and goal of the journey, and even the accuracy of Moses' leadership.  But all were in the desert together, led by the two pillars in the sky, and provided the neccesities (without luxuries) for the journey.  And they did, finally, arrive.  The timing was good, it's just that too many of us (myself chief in this) fail to consider the long game---preferring, even demanding, the short version.  Thanks ever so much for commenting; I hope you are well.
