Only in initiated Poets' poems we read
of the intimacy between Eros and Ganymede:
as each young man in our class eagerly discovers
that Eros and Ganymede were boyfriends and lovers.
The epic Poet, Apollonius, mentions Ganymede and Eros in the third book of his poem, Argonautica. Certain Homoerotic Poets have expanded upon that.
