On that Friday night in July, 1974,
my Lord called me to rise and step outside the door
to look upon His sky---in its grandeur, like a revelation.
He called me by my name, without derogation;
He he showed me the sign of my own name,
despite what skeptics and doubters might claim
I was called, by Christ Whom I adore.

After the event, I was too immaturely ignorant to make note of the date: which mght have been the 5th, 12th, 19th, or 26th.
This happened during the summer following the most terrible year of my compulsory education, my sophomore year, during which the verbal bullying was far worse than a physical beating. This verbal bullying, and all forms of bullying, ceased for me during that summer, of course, and did not resume in any form for the next two years.
This was also two years before BlueShift helped me to find Starwatcher as my first handle---which remained with me through college, but in my later years it evolved through Starward to J-Called, its final form, for which I praise our Lord and His Blessed Mother.
Blessed be the Name, and the Kindness, and the Largesse of the Lord Jesus Christ and his Blessed, Virgin Mother.
