[after Philippians 2:7, Habakkuk 3:18, and 1 John 4:8]
Christ, of His own volition and liberty,
emptied Himself of His Glory and Majesty,
in order to die on the three-barred cross for me
and to secure upon my soul the certainty
of His gift of assuured and wholly efficient Salvation
which eliminates even the least possibility
of isolate and wrongly self-chosen damnation.
Faith in Christ becomes my poem's conversation'
Christ, Who has filled me with such abundancy
(as only He can) of the joy of Salvation;
Christ, Who has given Himself fully to me---
(for Love is God, and Him), my soul's chief exultation.
