It's late at night, can't remember how

It got half past midnight... I should be asleep right now...

Insomnia breaks over me and washes onto you;

As the world falls asleep our day is brand new.



Exhausted but sleepless

Bathing in the glow.

It's half past midnight

And I already know...



Heaven drips from your fingertips

And ether pools in your eyes.



Together we'll storm the castle

Brave knight and wise mage.

Each turn a new beginning...

Each door a different page.



I'll protect you to the end;

Give my life for yours.

From fertile greens and forests

To white and sandy shores.



Another day is won...

Come and sleep by my side.

Another new beginning...

And yesterday's outdone.
