ugliness is beauty's bride,
the square the circle circumscribes
the ocean's tumultuous crashing tides,
so placid when the music dies
the dissonance in the way you speak
each syllable a cacophony
a laugh but you don't show your teeth
a dollar where a dime should be
a flower in an empty field
is quicker to die and slower to heal
but a lie is easy to conceal
in a meadow full of truths to shield
and a penny's given
when a dime's deserved,
and a laugh is given
but a cry is heard
well i can relate to this
well i can relate to this every day life
