city shadows in my window

lights and snow

falling on the people. 

I sit in my room

dreaming of my escape.

in my head a sort of debate.

but all I want on this snowy night

is my love, my heart

 my only delight. 

I see his necklace

laying in my hand. 

he gave it to me

with one demand. 

"your not so weak

like you beleive,

I am your strangth

your sweet relief,

so dont forget me

while your miles away.

we can handle everything

just take a day by day"

he spoke to me 

and held me tight.

I wish i had him by my side

I wish to keep him safe at night,

but now I live states away.

I wish to hold him

but i couldnt stay.

this is a love story that has contiued on

it hasnt stopped 

or died at dawn.

and though a thousand miles

stand in our way

its important we take everything

a day by day.
