there's something there

that everyone can see

something written

on top of me

i stare and stare

but still I'm blind

these words i look

but i still cannot find

i search and search

but they're not there

i finally give up

i just don't care

i walk around and

everyone can see

the words that are written

so clearly

so i go on with life

and still i cry

another mystery

cannot figure out why

to make me sad

and tare me up inside

without a person

to whom i can confide

until i find a stranger

who also can see

the words that are there

and points them out to me

touches my forehead

and outlines each letter

i asked him to tell me

but told me i wouldn't feel better

i beg of him please

to just let me see

he points to the mirror

and it says... "Hurt Me"
