I'm trying to speak

but my words are caught

I'm trying to say them

but nothing comes out.



I'll wipe my heart clean

and I'll let you write

on my heart, if u can tell me

that you'll be the light.



I've waited all my life

for someone like you

I'm giving you a chance

so stay, please do.



I feel like I'm falling

into a well, so deep

I'm scared to do this

but I'm taking the leap.



I'm closing my eyes

and letting go

You're right there to catch me

and this, I know.



Safe in your arms

is where I belong.

Where we are right now

is what I've wanted for so long.



Tell me you'll be there.

Tell me we're fine.

Tell me you love me

and you'll always be mine.
