Her lover leaves and she wanes for centuries
An hour glass shape
She slips through my fingers like sand
She makes eternity look desolate
Obsessed with counting wilting petals and watching leaves fall
She was always like Saturn, drowning in black bile
Walking backwards into certain death, but never wildly

ok I'm not too proud to ask. What is saudade? Not in my thesaurus on word. A great word for scrabble. :D

I was trying to personify time :) Saudade is a Brazilian/Portuguese word for a nostalgic/melancholic feeling. It's just missing something/someone profoundly. Instead of "I miss you" it would be "I have saudade of you"
