Drift away

When I close my eyes and drift away

I hope and pray your here to stay.

I'm not fully ready to say goodbye

after all you ain't just a guy!

Our love couldn't have separated

Now the thought has faded.

I thought you loved me

My heart was still yours. you have the key

Eventually I'll move on and our love will die!

I guess this is goodbye

I'm never coming back

and I promise you ain't gonna follow cause Imma erase the tracks

So when I close my eyes and drift away

It's just another day
