I’d see you more

But this summer’s at its end

I thought this summer,

We’d talk more

And that you’d be my friend

I thought this summer,

Things would change,

I guess that I was wrong

I thought this summer,

That you would call,

Since it’s been so long

I thought this summer

But nothing worked

The ways I thought it would

I though this summer

Way too much

It didn’t work the way it should.
