What is pain?

Is pain an emotion?

Or is it a manifestation of something ethereal?



I know physical pain.

I know emotional pain.

But are they the same?



I know physical pain afflicts ones emotions.

And emotional pain afflicts one physically.

Then there is the Spiritual pain.



This pain is what makes others hallow and empty.

And to others this pain, makes them cry out in joy.

But why is this so? Is it normal for us to enjoy pain?



Others out there love to focus there pain unto others.

Some even live for others to inflict any pain upon them.

Why is this so? This is the question I ask of myself day to day.



Why do we cause ourselves this pain?

Is it what we truly desire?
