Another dimension to be lost in

never desiring to return

to the home that never welcomes

and only knows to spurn

An illusion to look into

Impossible to turn away

from what you long to hear

and what they will never say

Almost perfect in the moment

They see you as you are

Hoping for acceptance

yet reaching distance is too far

A sky which brings the light

yet is familiar with the rain

Promises to embrace you

yet only delivers pain

To a soul with no escape

there is truth within these lies

For you will never be released

with one glance into his eyes
