As I sit in the dim light in the freezing cold

Dark Poetry

As I sit in the dim light in the freezing cold,

Past events in my mind are being retold.

Laughs made and tears cried,

Rules that I broke and rules to abide.

Greeted faces and hands shaken,

Sins made and mistakes taken.

As I walk around outside,

I look in the bulding and sighed.

Seeing the laughter of people I knew,

What makes them different from me and you?

I sighed once again and kept on walking,

As they kept warm with their humorous talking.

Saddened by only a few untold secrets,

Until that day, In the dim light

on this freezing cold night

I sit.
