The night falls

And the shadows grow

The two walk hand-in-hand

Their love could not be separated

For they had both found their soul



The shadows, although being beauty as they are

Hid a dark figure

Whose mind had gone too far



It decided to be ruthless

So it jumped the couple in love



He fought bravely

To protect his precious friend, his love

But there was nothing he could do

It killed him in the end



She had already begun to flee

The horrible bloodied scene

It outran the crying bride

But she wrestled the weapon free



It realised it's mortality

And decided itself to flee

But revenge is a powerful thing

So she killed the evil being



It was decided by the powers that be

That his soul go to eternity

Hers to an utterly evil place



He is now walking in the twilight

Where she wants to be

Her love is in another place

She is where she does not want to be



For millennia she wept in darkness

Instead of walking aside her lover

An action that was before taken for granted

But the powers that be

Noticed something

Something dreadfully significant

Her mourning lasted all of eternity

Her love was deemed true



They were reunited

And now they rest in each other's arms

Softly whispering of their love

Once and a while skipping through the twilight
