I saw her today. Dug up some memories that I buried away.
She looked good. Pretty. And she had goals.
Maybe she’ll save me from the abyss of lost souls.
I’m done, with who I am or what I’ve become, I’ve lost all control,
Of who I used to be. Maybe I can be different, if I choose to be.
The look in her eyes made me realize,
they are brighter than the stars in the skies.
They can’t compare to the glistening shine,
I saw in her eyes when she looked in mine.
The smile on her face, replaced,
my evil thoughts, and the urge to smoke pot.
But changing doesn’t come easy. It sounds cheesy,
maybe I could do it for you, if I care a lot.
The shimmer in her hair, I couldn’t help but stare,
At the pure beauty in front of me.
Her aura so bright, I couldn’t see,
what was there, across the chair, in art history.
I remember walking into class, just to see you.
I didn’t sit by you, because I was too shy.
I didn’t know what to say, or what to do.
If I could go back and sit next to you, I’d try.
I don’t know if I am looking for a relationship,
but you have what I want in a girl.
Lets see what happens, start a new friendship,
and give it a whirl.
Lets see what happens, and hope we don’t end it.
