Reality As reality distorts, pain comforts,
As right goes wrong, weak turn strong,
As truth starts to rip, love loses grip,
As a resurgent chapter, the break of character,
As memoirs wither, feelings cipher,
As night dawns, knights turn into pawns,
As words fall short, lost faiths abort,
As confessions heard, hopes turn backward,
As masters serve, will holds nerve,
As fallacies shine, ecstacy turns divine,
As the dead form queue, life loses hue,
As details confuse, faces refuse,
As worth collides, fear divides,
As paths entwine, minds turn serpentine,
As a dream wavers, one endeavours,
As promise of cure, fails to lure,
As a man with a page, escapes a cage,
As weight of choice, affects range of voice,
As judgement of deed, changes breed,
As guilt is sown, alleys moan,
As sky turns grey, beauty turns prey,
As names start to fall, pride stands tall,
As we conceal, scars reveal,
As thoughts sublime, stand the test of time,
As a saint cries and gives birth to sinner's eyes.
