When you have lived in your world for too long
You lose sight of the real world.
When you are terribly used to that one track mind of yours
You slowly suffocate yourself as days turn into weeks
Weeks turn into months
Months turn into years.
When you are shadowed by the roof over your head
Your house simply becomes a jail cell.
Your brain has to be rewired
because you haven’t been exposed to the real world.
When you haven’t been exposed to the real world
You lose sight of what the world looks like
You lose sight of what the world feels like
You lose sight of what the world smells like
You lose sight of what the world tastes like
And you feel hindered
As you see everyone experience those senses easily
And you have to relearn those senses all over again
When you should have long ago.
