That place

You caught a glimpse of the other side,

Where dreams are shown, and nothing hides.

You felt the warmth of him, who left you behind,

You chase and you run, but your hurrying's getting nowhere.

Now you're lost, you're lost in this place

Where the souls fly free,

And you can climb the tallest tree,

The ladies are dancing, and the gents feel complete.

Where the kids chase the butterfly, and nobody dies in front of your eyes.

This is the place, that you want to be, but I guess right now, now's not your time.

The happiness started to fade, and you scream and cry and hollered his name,

A piece of you broke off, like a small grain of a child's chalk.

This is when I finally heard you cry,

You cried because you know that you'll have to wait, to see him in that place.

Where the souls fly free,

And you can climb the tallest tree,

The ladies are dancing, and the gents feel complete.

Where the kids chase the butterfly, and nobody dies in front of your eyes.

This is the place, that you want to be, but I guess right now, now's not your time.

And you'll never understand, why God chose you for this plan,

Why it hurts so much, to let go of that crutch.

We all saw you change, in the course of a few days,

You lost sleep, and you never wanted to eat,

You started to hide your emotions, and you closed yourself away.

Because you miss him... And I miss you, but we'll never be, we'll never be the same
