In the bible, faith is stated, as in Hebrews 11:1, is a substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. Many scholars may disagree with that because of its translation from the Greek word "hypostasis", which means a form of confidence or assurance. But to me, faith is believing that something good will happen in the midst of a storm, believing that good will conquer evil, and the reward for a good faith, is seeing exactly what we believe in. Let's say that our test coming soon is going to be quite difficult, but we don't know that right now, and honestly it should be pretty easy, but we just don't know. If I have someone who knows absolutely nothing on the subject take the test, and he has faith that he will do good, without any prior knowledge, I promise you that he will do better than you guys who whine and complain because it's hard and that you don't understand... Because he has faith. Even the smallest amount of faith can change so much, we have faith that if we complete high school or college, that we'll be successful, but woe to the one who went to college for 6 years and had absolutely no faith, because he is still living in his mother's house because he has nothing to believe in and have faith in. That little bit of hope and faith that you have left, hold on to it, because that's all it takes to impact your life in such a drastic way, and it's all that you have left, even if your faith is only the size of your will to live, just keep on going and hold on to it, it's the light in the tunnel, it's the torch of truth, and it's what helps me love you more and more... Just, believe in something, please... If not for yourself, then for me.
I love you, and thank you,
God bless
