As the world goes round

The answers never found

That why things happen for a reason

And as things go on

We live in a song

Of sorrows, woes, and treason.

Things never end the way you think

Or how they end in a book

Things always end

With no way to mend

And always an uncomfortable look.

But try as we might

For a wonderful night

That we all see and wonder

It never comes near

For that ultimate fear

That there will be a great blunder

That something will go wrong

And we will live in a song

Of sorrows, woes, and treason

That they will look at you and say

I dont want you that way

And never give you another reason.
