If you ask me no more questions

I will tell you no more lies

If you wanted truth from me

Youve been wasting all your time



Our social structure denotes

We British cannot cry

So when you ask me how i feel

I tell you I'm just fine



Nobody can tell

Whether truth or lies

But i tell you a little secret

One of two is behind the eyes



The only one true thing

I will ever tell

Is that love truly feels better

Than the whole of everything else



So if you feel you can trust me

On this thing that you must be taught

Then listen me now as i tell thee

Life's battles

To be won

Must be fought
