Perhaps we should not have embraced coyote so dearly

He just keeps on tricking up the story

Cosmic Joke played on me

But I seem to be my coyote

Author's Notes/Comments: 

After revisiting the animal medicine of coyote, who we have embraced with humor, I am starting to believe he may be in my medicine totem. We sure have had a whole lot of encounters with this little trixter. It's probably time we ask him to hang out with someone other than me.
