Poignant Memories

just show up

Force me to pause

like a memory

that flashed

true and came

with color

and smell, 

and really sharp

edges.

just show up.

Force pauses.

Oooh, I just felt that sharp edge. Which reminds me, we did choose to walk that tightrope. Though it might have been the plank in disguise. We were saved just in time. Oh my.
