It seems to me,
I have let them in.
This taunting thought
of even letting out
the words that fill
my heart seem harder
to share and aching
to hold in.
Past saying with
truth.
I let the world in
and I take the world
out of me.
It's simple but
damaging.
So what I don't live
for anyone but for
the life that lives in
me. That is sufficient
for me without doubt.
There is no doubt in
the possible I have seen
His glory and embraced
in all He gave to me.
I showered around me
all that was in me until
my cup became empty.
Never will the cup be dry,
Oh Lord fill my cup and make
me whole by the grace of
your unchanging love.
It's you I let in as
you take the world out.
