A portrait stands before me
A face of a grown woman
But all I can see are the eyes
Angel Eyes
Look upon them and see the sun
Gaze into there colored depths to the soul
All there is is innocence
Angel Eyes
An aura surrounds her body
She shines of glitter and light
I swear I see a pair of wings
Angel Eyes
I look up to see tears upon her face
A glimmer of rain drops down her cheek and falling
As they touch the ground a flower begins to grow there
Angel Eyes
I touch her hand and feel power flow into me
I fall to my knees and pray for forgiveness at her feet
I look up into her eyes and see her answer
Angel Eyes
Now they shine of hope and life
I close my eyes as bright light blinds me
I open my eyes and see myself in the mirror
But all I can see are my eyes
Angel Eyes
great flow, very descriptive, and powerful words in your expression. I look forward to reading more. ~ Troy (BNM)
