Freedom is in the Air

Folder:
IRAQ War II

Freedom is in the air,

Voters in the street over there.

It has been fifty years,

This freedom they hold dear.

They suffered under tyranny,

Til God sent Americans to set them free.

Now after all this pain,

The brave soldiers to the everyday Iraqi

Citizens will not have died in vain.

The vile insurgents have failed to sway,

And Liberty shall rule the day.

Yes, freedom is in the air,

For Iraqi’s the world over everywhere.

Author's Notes/Comments:

To the brave, patriotic Iraqis that turned out en masse to vote for freedom in the face of terrorist attack.

Good appraisal here, Huck. I heard there was a 50% turn-out! Imagine the surprises here in America if we Christians would turn out like this !! (Hey, check under "Teddy" at " - - Mist" and read some of my stuff. Did you know I was there? )

"Poe" I'm not, nor "Rich" am I,
but I'll be famous, b'ye and b'ye !
