Into the ring you doth decend
preparing to fight with no seen end
you gotta fight, fight for your life
you walk down and hear the crowd
they cheer but not for you
they only want to see your death
now comes the other man
he too looks into the stands
the people cheer for his death too
then he turns and looks at you
the emperor sits in his chair on high
awaiting for one of you to die
the announcer enters to a trumpets blast
he raises his and and the crowd's noise ceases
you wait, the only sound, your heartbeat increasing
he shouts your names and the crowd goes wild
the noise is deafening, you cannot hear
you turn to the king and shout the warrior's cheer
your opponent swings his mace, high overhead
a step too close and you'll be dead
your body feels numb, your throat is dry
you turn your eyes up to the sky
and pray to God to spare your life
you see your sword upon the ground
you snatch it up as the mace comes down
rolling hard off to the side
the mace comes by, circling wide
you fight, fight for your life
you strike and dodge
battered and bleeding
this fight can't be lost
as you slash down your mighty foe
the noise from the crowd starts to go
your foot on his chest, your sword at his throat
you look to the emperor for his yes or no
the crowd is silent, they want the kill
the emperor gives a go
the stands roar as you raise your blade
then as you move the crowd goes still
you look around and realize
they're waiting for you to strike
the killing blow
its great!
there are parts that seem sort of like empty space. thats what i call the things that are too important to lose but to dissmal to keep. it tells a story, thats for sure. you almost feel as thoough you are that mighty knight fighting his foe :P good job keep writing and just go back and read it every once in a while, you might find something you can fix
