You give with a heart so full, eager to bestow all your love unto him

Eyes wide open and looking so deep, into an ocean of never ending waves

Standing at the base of a mountain so high and unreachable

Unfathomed torments of a grueling dismay of pain and hurt overwhelm you



I have seen the deserted emptiness of a heart left with nothing more than a tear

Nights of anger and cries, hating the very feeling that creeps within you

Disheveled and torn within your very being, unrestricted anger dwells your mind

Pearls of water fall from your eyes, salty drops left on your lips to remember your sorrow



We find shelter within each other’s bosom, taking from each other that we do not want

Offering to sublimely console the heart that shattered and withered was left alone

The walks of life chosen have taken us to where we find our existence controlled

Destinies full of torturous evils and growing dilemmas of unseen misfortune



Fetal position reminds you of when you were so helpless and childlike

Remembering what it was that lured you into the arms of a cold embrace

Deafening sounds of cruel memories, laughs and joyous moments spend together

Trivially you consider what you had special and wish you had it again



Listen to times that appear before you, understand your heart weakened and alone it is

To see you in times of need and despair, to feel your agony and fear in my own soul

To wish a caressing hold would be suffice to bring a joy to your heart

To brighten your very existence and allow you to lean on me and shed what you feel



An offering of what is within one so true, a friend to the very end of the life lived

To stand to your side and hold your hand in times of need, to show you are so much more

Eyes with tears shining, love from where you never thought you would find

A one-time mystery of truthfulness now unveils itself before you



You hate now for you have nothing else within you, to love is the feeling you long

To care and express, that which lies to the core of your inner sanctum and needs out

Laughter that brings you joy and relief, a lift from that of what you bore

To offer you my every whim, to make you smile and brighten all around you



I take this vow for you and wish upon the star of time

To show what life is and express how love will be

To make you the priority of what I live for and want

I promise you my heart, my soul, a promise of happiness and joy I give to you

For if I would walk the same path as he who has your heart, never would you hurt again.
