When the day is done and life slows down,

when you're finally next to me;

Warmth and comfort blanket me, as I listen to you sleep.

When I close my eyes, you're all I see,

As I drift away and wonder...

    When I dream of you, do you dream of me?



When everything has come apart,

and it seems that all is lost;

Left with only memories, and dreams are all I've got;

I begin to drift away and wonder...

    When I need you, do you need me?



When morning comes and we go our seperate ways,

Sometimes it get so complicated,

just to make it through the day;

I take a breath and as I sigh,

I drift away and wonder...

    When I think of you, do you think of me?



When days go by with nights too long,

and my heart is gripped by fear,

I pray to God, to bring you home and I shed a single tear;

I drift away and wonder...

    When I miss you, do you miss me?



When I think of all that's happened,

and everything that's yet to be,

I make a wish on every star,that somehow I find the key,

Still  I drift away and wonder...

    When I cry for you, do you cry for me?



When we first met, I should have known,

you would sweep me off my feet;

All it takes is the thought of you,

and my heart still skips a beat;

And once again I drift away and wonder...

    When I'm loving you, are you loving me?
