What ever happened to yesterday,

and the times we'd laugh and play?

Was it just a dream, of some far off place,

Or did we lose sight of it, along the way?

We've wandered so far, off the path we chose,

Some days I wonder, if we're friends or foes.

My love has grown, in our time apart,

and no one could be, closer to my heart.

I cannot lose sight, of where we could be,

Or let who we were, become a memory.

I can't let you go, at times I wonder why;

No matter how hard it gets,

I can't seem to say Goodbye.

There is nothing, I won't do for you,

but I don't know what else I could say.

Somehow I'll find the answer,

There's got to be a way;

To heal our hearts and let love in,

And together we could learn, to live again.
