Yesterday, I returned to Poppy's
garden,
Visions of the past flooded my
mind.
I was taken back in time,
Once again a little girl, sat
on her fathers lap,
Softly reading to her from
the Childrens Bible.
Always leading in a certain
direction,
Many lessons were taught
there,
I remember yesterday.
He didn't want to go,
I begged my hero, stay,
I'd give up tomorrow , for
another yesterday.
