CHILDS MADNESS
a child with a gun
it's big news these days
makes me wonder
if they can see beyond the haze
why do they do it?
we may never really know
anger, music or abuse
the signs can seem to glow
they are like a ticking bomb
waiting for just some excuse
there are those that say
it's the music, drugs and booze
but I tend to think
it is much simpler than that
for with out some sort of discipline
you might be raising another brat
spare the rod and spoil the child
that is what I have always heard
I watch the news and think it's true
children killing children how absurd
I don't know what the answer is
but I know we need to find it and soon
it seems like time might be running out
for they no longer need a full moon

Renee, It seems like they don't recognize reality and fantasy...oh, she said she didn't like my hair so I will shoot her - oops - I didn't know it was forever! There certainly is a real problem with this...reality/fantasy, right/wrong, they haven't got it. And we aren't allowed to discipline our children anymore...if people think you spank them, YOU are in trouble. Enough already! I don't know where it will stop or how to stop it but you are right - it must stop! Kris
