Loose of lip
And slight of tongue,
Remark now leaves my mouth.
Snicker posed
Smile sinks
Taste now becomes foul.
Eyes go white,
Gaze of horror
Slaps upon my back.
I feel her eyes
Burning deep
Giving me no slack.
I turn my head
My lungs have died,
Realize what I have done.
Good friend lost,
Enemy gained
Apology denied.
So much for me,
Perhaps not as good
A friend of hers as she is mine,
Thoughts were alike
But for no more,
My soul she saw
Now ready to strike.
Oh well, I say
To sound more quaint,
While inside I am crying
I could not even apologize
For my words keep on dying.
In my mouth they all fall to rot
And slip out upon my chest.
No use in trying to get them back,
Ill fall in among the rest.
Once again a friend departs,
Once again I’m lonely,
Once again I’ve damaged my heart,
But more importantly,
One of another.
At last I can see
What all already know,
She F#$%^@ hates me
And its time for me to go.
