Rumbling Canyon,
Thunder quakes,
Love not abandoned,
My heart breaks.
Wind wisps my hair,
Feels like your fingers,
As if you were there,
Your presence still lingers.
All of the hope
Which I thought I had,
Has come back to help me
When angry or sad.
The thought of “with out you“,
My heart cannot take,
My mind not believe,
Soon my heart breaks.
Simple minutes
Apart from your arms,
Seemingly simple,
Will do no harm.
The truth is soon known
In storms it is felt,
The winds become blown,
The frozen hearts melt,
The earth shakes and trembles
With gentle a breath,
And those who’ve not loved
Fall to their death.
For now it is known
To all men the same,
That nothing is more
Than the love of a dame.
Like sounds off a canyon
Like walls made of stone
Like oceans of love
With shores make of bone.
Sandy and white
Feet sink in the sand,
And I’m filled with joy,
To just be your man.
Nothing more nothing less
But simply to be
There for you now,
And for eternity.
Whether as friend
Or closer than that,
I know that I love you,
And at least I know that.
No other knowledge
Is needed be known,
No other wind
Has need to be blown.
No mountain shall quake
Nor any land tremble
So long as I’m near
My love for you is feral.
