My days are brighter,

My heart not so low,

Since my love I have let go

Now the world a bright shining place,

Now the smile is back on my face,

I don’t fear the night so lonely and dark,

I don’t fear my empty arms

I don’t know what is in store for me

but this I know and this I see

a future bright with the promise of love

the fate that awaits will be from GOD above

I’m free to write to roam to choose

for there is no one to bring me gloom

my heart is free to love once more

my soul returned to let someone love

my old love is now just a memory

somewhat bitter

somewhat sweet

now I await God to bring to me

the one that he has chosen for me

and that person for me love

to hold and cherish above everyone

I won’t be afraid to be alone

knowing that I am loved

I know that mine soon will be

A love that will last the ages of time

a love so perfect

a love so divine

for me now there is sadness no more

just a chance to open another door

as I walk through I know I will find

a love that will be true

a love that will be mine

so to my old love I hope you find

the peace and hope that is mine

I hope you get all you that you desire

I hope you see that I truly loved you

I hope you see that I wanted you
