What you took from me only you could have taken.

What we did in our young age was what we felt right.

How we acted that night cannot be mistaken,

Because for the next year our bond was real tight.

That night it was crazy how our chemistry just flowed.

Together as one we were that whole year.

The emotions we had, the night completely showed.

It’s a shame what we did that b/c you weren’t near.



You know that I love you because you were my first.

You will always have what I gave and you took.

This break-up we made will be the one that hurts worst,

Because I took your love like fish to a hook.

You accepted my gift I felt was only for you.

Since you were like me, I accepted yours in exchange.

I know what love is and our love is true.

We’ll just take a break till we can reduce the range.



You’re moving almost 10 hours away and we won’t be able to talk.

Only through snail-mail we would stay up-to-date.

When I heard this I felt a sudden shock.

That’s when I decided our postponed fate.

When one of is financially able,

We can start dating again.

To make a dating life that will be suitable

But just to let you know that until then



You will always have a place in my heart and are my only love,

Because you were my first boyfriend who must have come from above.
