There she sits in the pouring rain
No one to comfort and take away her pain
Her shooting sighs, and staining tears,
She can't seem to forget her childhood fears
Although she tries again and again
This is the way things are to have been.
Once a little angel turned bad
She can only wish that she never had
The joys of life, happiness and sorrow
She now can't wish for a better tomorrow
Mascara staining her snow pale face
She only wants to belong in a certain place.
Covered in black from her head to her toes
Her emotions run wild and her pain only grows
Make-up to hide her face, behind this mask
Wanting people only to stare and not ask
What's wrong with her today
Why is she this way...?
The tainted knife grasped in her hand
Trying desperatly, but she can't understand
Wanting time to just stop and rewind
Into her thoughts she creeps wanting to find
The answers to way she does feel like shit
Playing with suicide, she tries to commit.
Into the shadowed world she does flee
Not being able to grasp her reality
She continues to tell herself she's a waste
That she'll die quickly and be replaced
The rings in her ears, chains by her side
Staring into nothing-ness she just wants to hide.
Sitting under the moonlit sky
Is that lonely child waiting to die
Soothing sounds, shooting of a star
Sometimes she wishes she could be where you are
Too scared to die, too scared to live
Back into her mind she goes to surrvive...
Beautiful!
Starward
