I feel sad that I did not have
so much time spent with you
as a child, who longs for your
paternal care when parents let
me down with my childhood dreams.
I envy my friends who run
to their grandfathers' open arms
each time; they gather them in
every family occasions festivities.
My eyes swell with tears of longings.
My heart yearns for your affection,
so warm that your soft and gentle
voice comforted me in my loneliness.
Your smile lingers in my memory
only me can draw them in
the blackboard of my heart.
I hope Grandpa I will see you again;
this time, we will really spend time
longer together as I have two
playmates to share with you:
my girls whom I adore that
I would love to cherish
with you till eternity.

Can relate to this one too. My grandpa had a stroke at home and I remember at the age of 6 he fell on the kitchen floor in my grandmothers house. Ambulance came and I never saw him again after that so yeah can relate...
